Description

A very attractive cottage dating back to the early Edwardian era, built in 1903 of brick & tile construction. Set in a large plot, believed to be approaching a third of an acre, enjoying a stunning semi-rural position on the very western edge of the town, enjoying great privacy & tranquillity with large mature gardens with woodland to the front & rear and open fields to the side on the edge of the Harleyford Estate & golf course. For sale for the first time in over 60 years, this represents a tremendous opportunity to acquire a real character home in such a location, although it does require modernisation & redecoration and some significant investment to bring it up to its full potential. For families this house is in the Danesfield primary school catchment, within 10-15-minute level walking distance of Sir William Borlase Grammar School at the end of West Street, and within one mile of the High Street. Being sold with the benefit of NO ONWARD CHAIN.
